16.07.07 | Tiny Traditions at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2007
Tiny Traditions makes an appearance on the Gold Medal & Tudor Rose (best in show) Award Winning Growing Schools Garden, sponsored by the Department for Schools at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2007. The garden designed by Chris Beardshaw was developed in conjunction with 30 UK schools which won the coveted award was designed to reflect the power of natural landscapes to inspire and educate young people. The different themed zones hint at the learning opportunities offered by wider landscapes. The garden at 20x30m was one of the largest gardens at the show and incorporated areas of meadow, woodland, arid and wetland, fruit and vegetable gardens, a study centre, amphitheatre, poetry and story telling areas, a recycling centre, a climbing wall, and a willow woven green man.
