Spear and Jackson chose to launch an evolution in the garden hand tool arena by giving the press the opportunity to see and trial the advantages of the new e-series range for themselves.

Journalists from many leading UK publications were given the chance to step into an indoor garden environment to don Wellington boots and dig in a soil tray, firstly with a more familiar looking spade, and then with the new e-series spade with it's unique delta stirrup design.

First contact with the e-series left many wondering why nobody had though of aspects of the design before. Hands on trial soon convinced them of the ergonomic benefits, and left them marvelling at just how easy the new design could make working in the garden in the future.
