S&J UK are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their Warehouse team in Sheffield. This is an exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge and opportunity to drive this area of S&J UK.

 

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the S&J Warehouse Department; ensuring effective coordination of all warehouse processes including the safe and efficient receipt of products; storage and despatch of warehoused goods; logistics; transportation, and process improvements for improved efficiency. Furthermore, the Warehouse Manager will have line management responsibility for the Warehouse Team, with accountability for performance management, recruitment, departmental people planning, and training and development.

 

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates of management calibre who have experience working in a busy warehouse and production environment; along with a good level of academic achievement and an excellent understanding of company warehousing procedures.

 

Candidates must be technically minded and able to demonstrate effective team management and leadership skills, with the ability to instil trust, confidence and excellent integrity across the workplace.  Self-confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and with an excellent work ethic, we are looking for candidates who are driven to deliver, who are process orientated with first-class organisational, project and time management skills, good communication / interpersonal skills and great relationship management skills.

 

Competent computer skills are essential, including the full Microsoft Office package with SAP experience advantageous; and a full valid UK driving licence is also a necessity of the role with commitment to undertaking UK and International travel as and when required.

S&J UK are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Supply Chain Development Exec to join their Purchasing Team in Sheffield. This would be an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking for the first step in their career, but would also suit an established individual with previous relatable work-based experience.

 

Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, the Supply Chain Development Exec will be responsible for providing a wide-range of purchasing and administrative support to assist with the smooth running of the Purchasing Department. 

 

Day-to-day the successful candidate will be accountable for numerous purchasing and administrative tasks including raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders; monitoring and maintaining planning requirements for the stock replenishment system; recording and processing stock movements, and supporting and assisting with other general administration duties within the department. In addition, the successful candidate may also have the opportunity to travel alongside the Purchasing Manager to visit key suppliers in the Far East, in order to support with supply chain audits and pricing discussions. 

 

The successful candidate will have a good level of academic achievement, ideally to degree level or equivalent; some previous experience in a fast-paced retail or customer services environment is advantageous but not necessary; similarly, an understanding of company purchasing processes would be beneficial.

 

Applicants must be comfortable communicating and interacting successfully with individuals at all levels and will have first-class customer services skills; excellent project / time management and organisation skills; alongside strong IT competence, with experience using the full Microsoft Office Suite essential.

S&J UK are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Online Sales Exec to join their Sales Team in Sheffield. This would be an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking for the first step in their career, but would also suit an established individual with previous relatable work-based experience. 

 

Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the Online Sales Exec will be responsible for expanding the S&J UK online sales across all UK online customer websites, as well as focusing on maximising and enhancing the digital user experience, editing web content, monitoring sales and working closely with key national accounts to develop sales growth.

 

Day-to-day the successful candidate will support account strategy and development whilst managing their own assigned accounts; develop and implement digital sales and marketing strategy through developing and maintaining key relationships; maintaining online accounts, ensuring that new products are listed and discontinued lines are removed; and producing monthly online activity and performance reports for specified accounts.  In addition, holding responsibility for online prospecting, ensuring current awareness of the latest global developments and trends in online sales and operating platforms is maintained at all times.

 

The successful candidate will have a good level of academic achievement, ideally to degree level or equivalent; some previous experience in a fast-paced sales, marketing or customer service environment advantageous but not necessary; similarly experience working in an online e-commerce environment and in content management for websites would be beneficial.
