Brick Hammers are designed with one flat, square, face and a long chisel-shaped blade on the opposite side. They are used for splitting, trimming, cleaning, and setting bricks, stone, or masonry.

- The chisel end is used to cleanly split bricks, cinder blocks, or concrete masonry without using a separate chisel. It can also be used to chip off small pieces of stone and for scraping away cement to allow old bricks to be reused

- Polished striking faces with chamfered edges to avoid chipping
